We got locked out when my housemates ran to the corner store...but we had speakers, and ipod on shuffle, and a camera....once again, no plan as far as movement or music, just seeing if I could get him to match whatever song came on. This is what I do when I'm supposed to be sitting inside studying art history for the exam I had today (which I did end up passing!)
sorry for the odd sound quality, my camera doesn't do sound well....
My dog barks like a girl when he's in hyper mode XD I swear he usually sounds a little more "manly than that lol
Mostly weaving, working on spins, twirls (opposite direction), reversing between legs, and rolling on pavement (since apparently this is MUUUUUCH harder than doing it on the rug inside)
I think you should go out in town, and set a coffee can down for tips. He's a blast to watch! The energy is contagious! (Now I feel like I need to go play with my dog)
Really, really fun to watch Jamie. Ryuk's energy and obvious enjoyment of working with you is wonderful... ALSO inspired me to go grab Falcon and head outside!
Posts that send us outside to train ... what could be better?! :-)
I should have gotten our first session of "under the leg" on video... it would have been very entertaining, to say the least. I either need a shorter dog or longer legs! Falcon caught on immediately to the concept, but my balance while standing on one leg was pathetic. (I've been contemplating taking Yoga and this may have just pushed me over the edge...) In any case, we had fun! (I swear the dog has a sense of humor and was laughing at me however.)
I'm with Barb. If I posted a video of Dom and I stumbling through an average training session, you'd be more than entertained at how pathetic it would be. I am too short and he is too big for leg weaving. He would have to belly crawl through my legs! Would make for lots of outtakes!
