I'm already grumpy over the lack of daylight I'm going to have tomorrow afternoon / evening. Except for the lousy one hour of extra sleep we get tonight - does ANYONE like daylight savings time? I always feel like I need to get in my jammies by 6:00 pm.... Grrrrrr. Dogs hate it. Chickens hate it. The two humans in this house hate it.

At least you get to wait until tomorrow. I woke up this morning and hubby changed all the clocks, I'm confused as *.* in addition to the despise over the whole thing.

Hate it.
It's cold. My grass is going dormant. The big buck that is coming out right at sunset is now safe because he "gained" an hour from my loss of an hour.
Poo. Poo.

I'd rather have sunlight in the morning than the evening...much easier for me to get moving. I could live in my jammies, the earlier the better. Oh, wait. I do live in my jammies. Literally. I am a hermit so no need to dress fancy.
I've found my dog loves what I love and hates what I hate. I wonder why that is?
Yes, I LOVE dst.

Oh gosh, your GRASS?? The beloved, cherished turf is going dormant? I feel your pain, man, I feel your pain. (Not really - it is a guy thing, but I can empathise). Actually, remembering how hard you worked in the absolute, hell-like heat and ended up in the ER... yeah, I do understand how much you love your grass!!!

I found that living in the city, it didn't really bother me one way or the other... Except when I used to party a lot there was always the added bonus of last call at the bar being extended an extra hour! They never seemed to shorten it though
But now that I live somewhere that there is no artificial lighting, and the environment plays such a huge part in day to day life - I feel like I can jump right on that anti-daylight savings train.

Here in the great wet north DST makes a big difference. Winters here can be pretty dark so it makes a bit of a difference to the time changes so you're not leaving and getting home in the black instead of the gray drizzle all the time . Right now we're in the countdown to about 8.5 hrs of sunlight a day by December 21st and then the count back up to 16 hrs in summertime.

Hate it, hate it, hate it. They’re already messing around with a month here and week there. I wish they would just stay with daylight savings all year round. Its dark going to work and coming home. I only get to see my yard 3 days a week and it messes with the boys for at least a week.
I did get a really cool hat though. It’s got three LED lights built into the brim that can be clicked on to different brightness’s and angles, just a normal baseball cap. They have the winter ones too with the fluffy, floppy, tie down ear things. Me thinks me wants one of those too. Really bright! Okay, I'm far to excited about this hat but it really is convenient and I so HATE this dark time change time of year.
Well, I guess the “bright” side is that there are only 125 more days of this and then back to regular, light filled hours. I'm with you Melissa, the countdown’s on!

LOL! Too funny... just last night I suggested to my husband that we get another light that attaches to his hat so he can continue walking / exercising Falcon when he gets home in the PM! We had one last season but I accidently put it on the fender of my car and drove off / over it... It was very helpful prior to its destruction.

I never change my watch, I just live on daylight savings all year round. It's a cheapo Timex, had it for years, worried if I turn it back the stem will fall off.....
