Can you link us to a picture taken from above as he stands and one from the side as he stands? All ribs and hips visible may actually be a bit thin.
PS
I ignore most people who say a dog is "a bit too thin." I betcha they have a Lab at home whose back looks like a couch. Or a dog with the dreaded pickle shape.
We have realized that Haydn is too fat so he is getting no food other than training treats + (yogurt+Sal Oil+E) + (cleaned chicken bones+organs). All muscle meat gets used for training treats
I'll try to take some snaps and post them to my facebook or something.
And Connie, ditto on the "most people" comment. A lot of the complaints I got were from a baby shower I took Roger to this weekend...there were 4 other dogs there, 3 of which were ridiculously fat. Not to mention some of the people...
And their owners are in total denial. One of the 3 other dogs is a Pit Bull/Boston Terrorist mix who I hadn't seen in months...and she was worse than a pickle. I was actually really sad when I saw her because she used to be very athletic and now stumps around like a senior citizen despite being 3 years old.
On a side note, Roger was a bit edgy when I brought him to the shower, but adjusted to the distractions astonishingly well, and by the end of the gathering he was just sitting stock-still by my side as people and dogs walked around. I basically got him to the point of ignoring it all. I really lucked out w/this dog.
