I managed to get a little of my christmas shopping done this morning. Got home, unpacked it all, and plopped myself down in the middle of the floor to wrap it all up before the kids get home.
Reminder: VACUUM before wrapping presents on the carpet!! I SWEAR I vacuumed very throughly last night. Apparently it needed it again, as all my tape has at least 1 brindle hair in it.
I'm lucky I have a family that understands my animal obsession, and that my carpet is just a giant hair ball.

My favorite is when I am using that expensive clear shipping tape and it's highlighting all colors of dog hairs by the time it sticks to the package.
Never. You'd never have come up with such a beautiful example otherwise. . .
Have you heard of the 'Mr. Sticky'? It's one of those silly infomercial products. It was being shown in a local Fred Meyer store, and I got suckered. It's actually a worthwhile investment. It's like a lint roller, but you just rinse it off when it's dirty! They say it lasts forever. I use mine in the kitchen all the time, but the best use is in the bathroom, to pick up all the cat litter that gets kicked/tracked around. It's works SO WELL for that!
oooh that sounds like just what I need!
I am currently trying to get what a ridiculous amount of orange cat hair out of a very nice wool coat.
We have washed it on delicate twice, used tape, lint rollers, the hair sponge, rubber gloves, and the vacuum. It is much better but still really hairy.
