I posted a thread earlier about jump heights in MR, advice was very helpful and answered my question. However one of the sites I was directed to says, "Any breed of dog is admitted. The dog must hold a pedigree issued by a canine society recognized by the International Cynological Federation (F.C.I)"
This is the site: Mondioring Rules and Reg
Can someone clarify this for me I was told previously that I do not need a pedigree and my dog would be listed in its score book as a mixed breed without one. If I do need a pedigree will a CKC registration work for that.

I had been told the same thing so I'll be interested in the answer, too!

I found this on a different rules and regs site
"The handler must be a member of USMRA. S/he must have a scorebook issued by the United States Mondioring Association, AWDF member club or FCI member club. Any breed of dog is admitted. To begin Mondioring competition, a dog must be at least 12 months old. The dog may be spayed or neutered. (A spayed or neutered dog will be denied entry into an FCI event.)" http://www.usmondioring.org/Brevet_RULES_6_1_06.pdf
This says nothing about a pedigree, but excludes altered dogs from FCI events. I am even more confused now, please help.
Kyle, any unregistered dog can compete in events in the USA. To compete internationally (FCI event) the dog must be registered and intact. The wording is a bit goofy, but does that make sense?
