Has anyone had problems with runny stools even after a slow switch, and could you recommend a different kibble. I do have.fortiflora for diarrheh but I'm not sure of that's something I should give all the time

You can give probiotics all the time, yes, and yes, I've read about dogs who have persistent pudding poops on Orijen (which doesn't indicate that it's less than a very good food; I think it IS a very good food).
So, once again I'll say that this is a human GI nurse speaking, but as long as it's just a probiotic (which this appears to be) it shouldn't be a problem if you give it every day. A probiotic primarily helps regulate the flora and fauna of the digestive tract. It adds live cultures that allow for replacement of anything that is affected by illness, "bad" bacteria and things like antibiotics that are prescribed for infections and aren't selective about the bacteria they kill off.
Again, just my HNO (human nurse opinion)
I'd be happy to hear whether or not this holds true in the dog world.
So I should just keep him on the orijen and add the supplement or try and and change foods again. I was feeding blue Buffalo wilderness and his stool was fine, but I wanted a higher quality dog nibble. Any suggestions
