Hello everyone my name is Mike and I live in College Station, Texas. I'm 28 years old and 5 weeks ago--after much research--I decided to buy a lab puppy for my family. I'm married with 3 wonderful daughters who love the heck out of Princess Jasmine or Jasmine for short.
I did 6 years in the US Navy and after my last grueling 8-month deployment to Iraq I decided enough was enough because the pull on my heartstrings was just too much. I've decided since to go back to school and utilize my GI Bill benefits. I'm working hard to get into medical school and one day become a psychiatrist. Lately, I'm enjoying my days with my family and enjoying the journey rather than focusing too much on the destination.
As for how I ended up here... Well, whenever I do something I must first do tons of research. For example, before I bought my television I did research for a week to make sure I bought the best for my money. When it came to introduce a new puppy to my home I bought everything I could. First, I started with The Dog Whisperer books who I believe led me to make many mistakes regarding my beginning in training. I found the Leerburg website and now my wife will kill me if I buy another Leerburg DVD, but on the bright side Jasmine is coming along at a great pace. I'm working hard to become a good trainer and possibly in the future I can help some rescue dogs if I get good enough.

Welcome nice family and good luck with the new pup. And don't worry once the Leerburg DVD stack gets to about 4 or 5 you can sneak an new one in there once in a while without the wife noticing LOL.
