This is Sookie's first scent pad- one big baited footprint. She's 9 weeks old. Wasn't really intending to train her in tracking but I was curious how she would do. I'd like to get her on a mini straight track by the end of the month if the weather holds up. So here's her first tracking experience learning scent discrimination. She wasn't as enthusiastic as I'd like but going outdoors is still a big new experience for her. "You mean there's TREATS in the grass??!" Sookie learns tracking.

Tracking tells you more about a dog's temperament and outlook than any other discipline. ----- That is one obscenely adorable puppy.
