Hi everyone, just wanted to say hello, and to give an update on my pack Chico and Carla.
At the beginning I followed the protocol of walking and training them separate, which I still do. With some interaction while Chico was on leash and Carla was thither to a long line. Some short play sessions and training in between.
Without my scooter and my Doctor, I would not have been able to carry out this task, as far as walking separate, plus distance, with help from lovely people and the winter I was able to slow down and give attention to both dogs individually.
My goal was to walk them together at the same time. I wanted Carla to past her first season. Today I did that, but even before I attempted this, I put both dogs on loose leashes and let them play for the first time, with me there trowing a ball or two. I notice they followed me from back of the house to the front and back again, recall was slow because of interference of play. But all was good.
I celebrated this moment on my small street; Not much distractions there. And away we walk, They are sleeping very soundly now.
I have some pictures, but operator malfunction is the problem. Thanks for every one help and advice, that caution me about some pitfalls I might have dodge. The road is still long, and much still to do, Chico is only one year and Carla is seven months old.
The conditions I had to work with was ideal for me, I had time on my side been fully retired. I expect to continue this pace until I tittle both dogs. and then love them until... Thanks Dan

Good to hear things are progressing Dan. Glad it is you and not me taking care of those two... How is Schutzhund training going? Have you started taking Carla to the club?
Great to hear from you, Dan. I was thinking about you and your pack the other day, you must have read my mind
Glad to hear that the pups get along together, and they continue to do well. I can't wait to see pictures of them!! And when you title them, the entire board will celebrate
As usual you always put a smile on my face, two does not seems so bad, but I would not push my luck.
Schutzhund been on the back burner ever since the middle of Dec. But with God's will, we will be there this week end. Carla is a ball hound, plus she keeps her nose to the ground, she does not seem to have the protection genes her father had at this point. Surprises comes when you least expect. Dan

Hi Kelly, much delight to hear from you, mind reading is something I should develop.
Thanks for your support, hopefully this year I can put a BH on Chico and go on from there. As I always knew about this board, they are magnific, and I will celebrate with all. Dan
