But I did a lot of luring in heeling position with the head straight up (mostly to pass little fluffy dogs on the street). Haydn is only 2 weeks younger than Forrest's puppy and look what they were doing at 6 months! Haydn is almost 9 months now.

Ana Kozlowsky Webboard User Reg: 01-21-2010 Posts: 1049 Loc: Offline	I tried to follow the process as explained in the Heeling DVD: started with the lure for muscle memory, worked on focus from a stand, pivoting on the bucket, then added leash pressure. To improve the head position so that he is holding the head straight up the reward is placed to the left and above his head. It's supposed to help
