Today is Tasha's second birthday. We celebrated by taking an extra long trip to the park and picking up a dinosaur size marrow bone on the way back.
I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for the help you have given me over the last year. Without all the wonderful advice from you guys, I doubt I would have been able to keep my dog. She's now not only on her way to being well trained, all of the knowledge that I have gained on this board has given me confidence to know that I can handle her.
The time, patience and advice you all have given me is a tremendous gift.

I have had an amazing day with my doggies and I was thinking, on my walk back, how much I owe to this site for helping me get my head around what my doggies need. Congrats Lauren! I totally understand what you are talking about, having a better trained dog, and having the confidence to handle the dog you have.
Happy Birthday to Tasha! Congrats to you Lauren, for doing all the learning and hard work with Tasha! It sure sounds like it has all paid off!
You did it! Tasha's lucky to have you.
She's definitely mellowing out some. A year ago a single day without 3 one hour outings for exercise would have had her boucing off the walls and chasing me around the house.
Now she only needs two hours!
She's definitley learned that her mouth is not the best way to get attention. She still nibbles at me sometimes, but the general mouthiness is subsiding. Her attention span is much more of an adult dog, too. My puppy is all grown up.
She still does very silly things. Today we were playing with a ball on a string, and I let her win it. She was giving it the death shake and she hit herself in the face with it. She yelped, dropped the toy, jumped back and barked at it, and then started shaking it again.
