Kip looks like a happy pup with all of his new loot.
I wish they'd do something like this for the Go-frrrr balls. JD will probably die chasing his when he's like 105 or something. LOVES LOVES LOVES those balls. Good thing the pet store where I get them has a 100% return policy - no questions asked - for when they wear out or the rubber band breaks. Can't tell you how many of them we've had.
So if you've got decent camera skills and your dog loves to play with these toys, give it a shot!!
That's awesome! Congrats to you and Kipp! And thanks for the tip... Faroh loves the amphibious ring. We just recently started playing frisbee and he loves it more than the ball. Now that I know about the competition, I'll take better photos!
Great photo Mara...Ziva loves to play fetch with the chuck-it, Jody goes after about 2 or 3 balls and then just watches. But we are certainly have to get out the camera.
Hey Mara, does the flying squirrel float? It says on the website that it does, but not on the packaging of the toy. I've also seen one at the bottom of the lake!
We use the frisbee mostly for water play, so that's an important factor...
They do a really decent job of floating- we've played with them at the lake for quite a while and never lost one. After a half hour or so they do start to get water logged, but it hasn't been a big deal. We play with the dilapidated ones at the lake just in case we loose one. But if you primarily want a floating toy for water play, I'd probably stick with the rings. I'm wondering if the one you saw on the bottom got carried away by the current and washed back up.
I like the squirrels because they work well for fetching and tugging for my dogs. They hold up well for that povided your dog doesn't chew as they fetch. They hold for fairly intensive tug really well for my 30# and 35#. I probably go through about 6 or so a year. not bad considering all the use they get.
The amphibious ring floats, and I have tugged with it, too. It doesn't fly as well as the flying squirrel, but you can get a decent toss with it.
Personaly, I haven't had a flying squirrel last too long. She chews it up and debones it before it even gets back to me. She's a master toy destroyer, though.
