small clip of my 9 month old gsd pup playing tug any suggestiongs and expecting some pros to comment well expecting Criticism xD im a big admirer of Ram my fellow indian http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtWcXmSABaA
What happens if you let her win the tug? Does she bring it back and push it at you?
You gave a SIT command at 2:04 before outing her, maybe it would have worked better as Out - Sit?
I have never seen anybody hide the tug behind their neck. Is the idea to make her focus on you? Theoretically it looks like it might cause conflict because you are the handler. Very interesting. I would like to hear expert opinions on this.
well she does focus very well ye she has a bit of problem when outing. when she is in full drive she comes up on me and tugs if i give out she outs and immediately she trys to hump :S she did got couple of haard corrections but still does try to hump very rare tough
Hey , Very nice video. Glad to know that I am not alone :P . Where do you and Elsa live?
Suggestion would be to immobilize the tug by locking it between your legs on your knees to avoid any little movement on the tug. This will avoid self satisfaction.
It may be helpful if you mark and reengage the tugging after the out. This will make the out quicker as the dog will know that out means that she will get to play tug again.
hey ram
thanks man i live in andhra pradesh ANANTAPUR Town going to be CITY close to banglore like mb 3 hour drive http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fObJaFlLJ1M here is one more vid i just did an hour back : )
I live in Chennai, which is 6 hours from Bangalore. So that would make your town 8 hrs drive. Do you compete in any obedience shows? Saw your latest video too. Very nice. Try using a human to get her alert. That way there will be no confusion in her mind. May be I am wrong, but thats how I do it. Here is me getting Kaiser upset at my nephew. Again, maybe not the right way, but this is how I do it. This video is 7 months old.
