I've had to have spent HUNDREDS of hours proofing and training with distractions with Erika, Roxie and Max. I've done parks, kids, other dogs, gunshots, airbrakes, everything under the sun. But add ONE puppy and it all goes to crap....
"Erika, HIER!"
she turns and looks as if to say
"But I'm playing with the PUPPY!"
Me"PFUI! HIER"
Erika"NO, PUPPY"
Me" G--Dammit I said HIER".
continues to play with puppy
Erika"PUPPY PUPPY PUPPY LOVE PLAYING WITH PUPPY"
So I said the heck with it. the E collar has dead battieries so I'll fix this when I go on vacation.
Roxie was the same. It was ALL PUPPY ALL THE TIME.
Max has little interest in the puppy so I called called him over..
"Max, here"
Max turned and looked as if to say,
"You haven't worked me in YEARS and all of a sudden I'm suppose to take my tired arthritic self over to you? kiss my furry butt, I'm going back in my kennel."
When I crate Drago the puppy up, everybody is back on board, hopefully when he is older and up to speed this nonsense will end. all ready had the zoomies thru the house.
Very funny Dennis. We know you are only upset because you are having to get your own beer. Bwahahahaaaa!!!
I gotta come see me this pup. If I bring eggs, may I please? Heck, I'll bring you a few entire chickens... I went to the feed store today for 200# chicken feed and came home with 200# feed, six new day old Americaunas and 10# baby feed. And just yesterday I told Doug we needed to cull some birds - we have too many.
Wow Dennis - sounds like you've got some real dominance issues going on there, all those dogs blowing you off like that. Or maybe Drago is plotting to take over it all. You're gonna have to be really careful with those dogs
