I've never run across it in a dog, but my mother suffered horribly from it for about 10 years before she passed away in 2009. I believe hers was Pemphigus Erythematosus, but don't know for sure. I do know that they tried every drug they could think of and found that only high doses of methotrexate and prednisone worked for her. Of course that affected her liver. It was horrible to watch what she went through. No poor dog should be subjected to that. Thank heaven's they've pulled it! Here Decoy, Decoy, Decoy!
