What exactly do you mean by "He bites me really bad"? Under what circumstances does he bite you? Is this "play biting" or aggressive behavior? Please give us a few more details. I'm a bit curious.
I agree with Sharon, we need more details as to his biting behaviour. I will answer this on assumption though. My guess (and I may be wrong) is that he is high in 'prey drive' and gets excited and very mouthy with you when playing. If this is the case and he is playing, but too hard. You have to correct this behaviour, and it can be done. I am currently doing this with my 11/2 year old lab. I take a few pieces of dog food and keep it in a fist. I give him the "sit" command and then praise him with the food.
He wants to bite my hand and get to the food, what I do is say easy and I don't turn my hand over and offer him a few morsels until he is being gentle. You can transfer this to normal play by saying "easy" "gentle" what ever you prefer, but be consistant. Another way is to take your hand away quickly saying "OUCH!" He'll get the message. I'm just assuming that this is the situation and that it is not aggression. What I do around children, is let the dog play, but he must have something in his mouth. That way he can't jump up and bite a sleeve if something is already in his mouth. I trained another dog like that. Now I don't know what you want the dog to do eventually, so you may not want to discourage the behaviour, but rather replace it with taking an item, holding an item etc... I hope this is helpful.
