Christie Meyer would be worth a call to see if she's bred anything recently, I don't know. http://www.northwoodsk9.com
These 3 breeders I've mentioned I would trust to send me a quality pup that would fit my goals, sight unseen. All are reputable in the dog sport community, and have records to prove the workability of the dogs they produce. Heck, Les Flores trained/titled Vrijheid's Aaron, and placed 7th with him in the 2008 Wold Dutch Shepherd Championship's!!!!! Talk about a world class combination!
Loyalty, Commitment, and Guts-if you dare to own a Dutch.
ETA- I also know of several less then reputable DS's breeders. They are not as common as crummy GSD breeders, but sadly, the breed is becoming more popular. PM me if you've found a breeder that I didn't list you are interested in. I've got a couple connections that could check them out for ya.

Edit reason: less then stellar DS breeders.
Just wondering why you're looking at a serious working dog for a companion?
They're great dogs, but they're A LOT of dog and need something to do to stay sane and happy. I'm assuming that you've got a sport or a training/work program figured out? If not I'd start looking around so you've got an idea of what you're going to do with a dog of that caliber.

I'm considering a WL GSD because they are athletic and intelligent. Generally they are bred smaller than the SL GSDs and with less health issues.
To make a good decision I need to speak to serious breeders, which I have stumbled with finding in the past. So I asked for referrals.
I'm not so serious about the Dutchies. But I did stumble across an ad for a female Dutchie puppy at a rescue. I'll never get her because, 1. I probably live too far away from the rescue and 2. there are many applications for her. I just hope she finds the right home.
