My brown and white pitty mix was rescued from South Bend AC. She was schedueld to be put down because she was "aggressive". She's not, just doesn't like other dogs LOVES people. Unfortunately most places just think "aggressive". They don't divide it into different types of aggression and most think aggression towards other animals will turn into aggression towards animals. A lot of AC will automatically euth any bully breed. They just don't know enough about dog behavior and think they are saving somebody from getting bit. I've seen places where if a dog barks at and charges other dogs from inside it's kennel it gets the aggressive label.
