Like to introduce Fara to everyone. She is a product of Betty's handiwork. Drove to FL last week to LRC. Betty and Russ were wonderful hosts and I had a wonderful eperiance spending a few days with them and all their beautiful dogs!
Fara and I returned to PA Sunday morning. I couldn't have asked for a more well behaved traveling companion. I am astonded how well Fara is adjusting to her new home and surroundings.
Here are some pics of her I took Monday evening while visiting my father on D-Day.
Thanks for everyones assitance as I began the process of choosing a pup and breeder.
Congratulations, Jim. She is a real beauty! How old is she? What kinds of fun sports/activities do you have planned for her? Hope to get regular updates!
I’ve always admired Betty’s dogs and don’t think you can get much closer to perfection than that. Love the running shot with her mouth open. That blurry, quick capture seems to be the way a lot of pictures of her little speed demons turn out.

Russ and I really enjoyed meeting Jim and spending time with him. He is welcome back here anytime!
I was strongly leaning toward Furi for him, but once he and Fara met that plan went right out the window. LOL
It was nice watching them. Right from the start Fara was glued to his knee like they had been with each other for months. And she learned real quick what "nope" means.
Fara is six months old today. My plans for her is to keep her tired as best I can.
She hasn't shown much interested in outdoor games yet, but that will come. She enjoys playing with my fathers dog Rusty when we visit. Taking her to the State Park this evening, see if she wants to go for a swim.
Obedience class begins next week. This should be a great opportunity for some socialization too. We have a local GSD breeder who trains OB, Rally O and Agility. I'm optimistic we will meet some new friends there.
Once she gets accustom to her new surroundings, I will gradually present her with new experiances, people and places.
Congrats on a very stunning looking pup Jim!
I am envious you have a pup from Betty! I agree with CJ, you really can't get better perfection than getting one of her pups!
Looking forward to seeing her grow and seeing her progress!
Betty has some awesome pups. I've noticed a lot of people on here buying from her. I've been looking around for a good breeder as I'm planning on adding a new member to the pack by the end of this year. So far, haven't seen anything as good as LRC.
I've liked them on facebook so I can stalk their page until I can buy a pup. :p
