I got Zane from the shelter a month ago July 23rd, and he's turning out to be a fantastic dog. I've had offers to help place him already, but I have a feeling that I can get the boyfriend to agree on keeping him if I show him how wonderful he is.
Zane is insane about water, and will fling himself into the ponds around the old golf field. I've located a brand new Dock Dogs team in my immediate area and I'm really looking forward to bringing him out to shows in October!
For the record I could see straight to the bottom before he muddied up the water, and the tree debris is only on the bank.
Good job saving him Samantha!! If I remember correctly you pulled him from death row, right? Just goes to show you that one person's garbage is another's treasure.
He's gonna LOVE Dock Diving. And you will get addicted too

It's been fun for me having him around. He's so loving and kind that if he ever mellows out a little bit more (or I find the method to his madness) he'd make a fantastic therapy dog on top of all the other things he'd enjoy doing.
Sometimes I think I'd be better off keeping the dogs and losing the boyfriend, but you didn't see me type that.
ETA and yes, I did save him from death row. I have to stay away from the shelter or I spend days obsessing about dogs that are dying or have died already. There's a beautiful small husky sitting in a cell right now that I would love to snuggle with. She's so soft and extremely playful and sweet natured.
