Question Piper was in the house after being walked and she cooled off all of a sudden she went into drive and almost took Joshua face off and I don't think she was playing he was just sitting down when this happened. she was placed in the crate and has been ignored. She has never done that before so out of character anyone have any ideas
Joshua is my 23 y/o son he was on the floor watching TV the food dish was in front of him along with some toys just before this happen Piper was on the couch relaxing not bother anyone in a split second she came by me and then jumped off and walked by my son and bing.... he jerked his head back and went to grab her she ran away and I placed her in the create ...
First things first, how much exercise does she get daily?
Have you heard of NILF? (Nothing In Life is Free) I'd implement this immediately in your life- no food laying around, no toys laying around- nothing out for her to self satisfy on. Everything she needs and wants, will have to come directly through you.
Was it a dog food dish in front of your son? Or was it your son's food? If it was dog food, I'd highly suggest feeding your pup in her crate, where she is alone.

I will not tolerate that i don't care if there is food, toys, etc laying around. the dog is the guest in your home. correct her......
If not, it will only become worse. biting/growling at me or a family member/guest is unacceptable fix it and fix it fast.
I would have to say a lot to the point when she comes back she is beat she will lay down and rest then its back in business as usual
it was her food dish in front of him Like I said we can take her dish away anytime with no issue when this happen she was not going for any toy or her food it was like a bite by if that makes any sense. no growling or barking her tails was normal back of neck was not raised as far as I can remember no he was not touching anything of hers and he has sat down there before with no issue other than Piper wanting attention.
