this is the very reason I don't watch ANY pro sports. we ignore the criminal andor immoral behaviour but make pop stars out these people. NFL, National Felon League,
LOVE the lesson thst guy could teach our kids. Suuuuure, you can be a murderous SOB and then turn around and be nominated for player of the year and make millions! I am a football nut, but it's because of the decent guys out there. The ones who are not mega stars, but have real talent. I make it a point to watch any game that doesn't feature that peice of scum. We have the poorest county in the U.S. yet no dogfighting cases from that area of the state (can't remember any in our state, actually) Poverty does NOT equal abuse disguised as entertainment.
And the fact that Wayne Pacelle (President of HSUS) is all buddy buddy with this guy and singing his praises, tells you exactly what HSUS cares about animals!
Tony Dungee was singing his praises as well, saying he is reformed. His comments sound like somone who still has no idea what he's done and how it affects people or he just doesn't give a crap. I have a lot of respect for Tony Dungee but I seriously think this moron has put one over on him and just played the "game" of repentence. I agree it's our society. Look at how many rappers have criminal records and have actually owned the breed and given them the bad rap they have or at least made criminals want to own them..
