I'm new to training and I know nothing about Mondioring, but that was so cool! He was so excited and obvious adores her. Thanks for posting. Congrats to them on their superior score.
That is some great video Sarah. Thank you so much for sharing!!
I really appreciated the way you named everything. For complete unknowing spectators like myself, it puts a nice learning curve in there.
I must admit with the “Face Attack” exercise though I was holding my breath while expecting something a little different.
Shows how much I know. I wonder why they call it that? “Head on” or even “facing attacker” may save the heart thumps for us terminology challenged bystanders.
What Sarah has failed to mention in her modesty in that Elizabeth and her train together alone most of the time. No decoy, just the two of them.
And if I'm not mistaken both are new to ring.
Yeah, thats a great point. Check out Sarah's channel and you can see some of training progress. Congratulations, I'm enjoying following how you and Elizabeth are doing Sarah.
CJ, you are not alone, the vast majority of the people who are watching the vid aren't familiar with the exercises. I don't know about the naming of the "face attack", but the rules weren't written in english, they were translated, so maybe there is something lost in translation?
Called out by Betty and Steve! Elizabeth and I have been training together regularly since December when she moved here, but we've both been training for Mondio for about a year. Most of our training is done with leg sleeves and tugs, we try to work with a decoy about once a month. It will certainly get interesting now that we are training for level 2.

GO MINT!!!! That is so awesome Sarah!! Isn't it great to see a dog that you worked with earn his title?
How is YOUR little Maligator coming along???

Thanks Kel!! I was trial secretary, so I even got to sign his score book- how cool is that?!
Bijou is also doing well, unfortunately she won't be 12 months old until November so we will have to wait until next year to trial. We got some ob video of her last weekend so I'll be working on that today, maybe I'll post it.
Awesome job Elizabeth, and Sarah as well for being a great training buddy!
My husband and I are in the same situation right now. I'm training my Mal pup for French Ring, and he will be getting a dog of his own in the future. We train with a group when we can, but the nearest ones are either 5 or 8 hours away.
Sarah, where is Bijou from? And yes, please post the obed vid!
