Is there any good reason not to give a basic multivitamin daily when feeding raw? I know it may not be necessary, but would it cause any harm? I'm thinking of these vitamins: http://leerburg.com/46.htm
Currently, I feed the dogs vit E, vit C, and salmon oil with their food, and have recently added in a teaspoon of the honest kitchen invigor as well. The multivitamin might be overkill, but it's inexpensive (as long as it doesn't cause some problem I'm not aware of).
I personally use a product called B-Naturals Immune Blend. I use a half dose based on the recommendation of Lew Olson, who is affiliated with the products.
I use a variety of things that I give besides the standard salmon oil and Vit E. which are staples.
I like Ester C that I crush up, and give from time to time, and I have also given NuVet Plus from time to time.
Just to round out anything I may miss if I am doing a home made raw diet.
However if I feed any complete raw diets from companies like Stella and Chewy's or Nature's Variety, I do not give extra vitamins because they are already in the food.
To me is all about rotating and giving as much variety as possible.
I think all the Honest Kitchen supplements are fantastic, and I have used Berte's supplements as well because they too are really good.

Thanks guys. I do raw roughly 1/2 of the time so maybe a 1/2 a vitamin for those meals wouldn't be a bad idea. The rest of the time, when it's Honest Kitchen or kibble, I won't bother.
