Last year Jethro didn't notice firecrackers going off in the neighbourhood, this year he has started barking at them. How have others worked with their dogs about firecrackers? I'm just starting to formulate a plan for how to deal with this.
Does he know a "quiet" command? Can you distract, maybe with some extremely good treats?
Out of my dogs, only my little Cairn Terrier is afraid of loud noises. (She is old and going deaf...think she actually enjoyed the fourth of July this year for the first time! There is good in everything, I suppose lol.)
