Do any of your dogs twitch in anticipation for an OB reward? Since switching from food to a ball, Hazard is WAY more focused, but when he is holding a position (This is weird) The fleshy part of his nose twitches. It reminds me of a dog who surges forward a couple steps when they can hardly take it any more, but it's just his nose and only in the dirrection that the ball was just thrown in! It's just insanely strange to me when I see his nose quickly bend to the side like that. Not a problem, but just really curious to see if he is a canine oddity or if any of you have come across this
I will try to get a video He is statue still except for the nose. OB when he is right in front of me leads to the body wiggles, but if I'm any further than 12 feet or so, it's strictly the nose. Hope I can catch him on film cuz it's pretty cute!
I have been practicing marker training on my toy poodle (learning how to build drive, etc). She has since gotten to do the most excited 'sit' I have ever seen. If I don't mark fast enough, she will start the 'happy dance' with her front feet although, without lifting her bottom off the ground. If that doesn't work, she sort of stomps her butt, sort of like - I'm sitting, SITTING - Do you see this!!! All the while, her little body just trembles. It's so cute, I actually make her wait until she does that now. Probably not a good thing, but I like it and I can guarantee laughs from anyone watching.

Oh yes, I have a bottom-stomper. He does it off in the distance while another dog is having a session, I guess in hopes that his sit (thump, thump, thump) is more noticeable and will completely tear my attention from the dog being trained. LOL
