Hi folks,
I haven't been around much, been too busy w/dogs & fall harvest, but I just watched a great little video about pit bulls & wanted to share it here...
The fella who made it wants to make a longer film & is trying to raise some money. This is a quality production, not some amateur attempt. So please take a look, consider donating & share w/others you think might be interested.
I think everyone here knows just how dangerous breed specific legislation is. I think this movie can play a part in turning the tide back...
Very nice video. I really like it. They do not have real pitbulls in India. They have some of those dogs that look like "the creatures from the middle earth", Gotti line , razor line and all that jazz.
I really like pitbulls because they are nice and square and have short coats. I assume some of them can be very drivey too.
My pit cross is probably 8-9 out of 10 for drive... drives me a little crazy. But the terrier part does show up at the MOST inconvenient time... not the best choice for wilderness search & rescue, let's just say. But ring work? Oh yeah...
The short coats do tend to make them a bit wimpy in the cold weather here... big, fierce pit bull giving the sad-eye treatment if I don't get her coat on fast enough. LOL
I've had lab, setters, retrievers, poodle mixes, silkies... pits are my fave so far. But then, I also like training donkeys... what's that tell you? =^)
