Drago will be a year old Jan 2.
It's been a little disappointing this year for training, I haven’t had the time or the gas to do the training I wanted to. He could pass a Bh right now but tracking and bite work is nearly none existent. The kids throw the ball an play tug with him every day and I do some basic obed with him. his house manners are atrocious. He's crate trained and all but his exuberance gets him into trouble. Why go around a coffee table when he can jump over it? To him obstacles are either jumped over, knocked over or pulled out of the way. On the up side, he never forgets a lesson, I can go back to something two three weeks old and its like we just learned it an hour ago. Loves his family, very suspicious of strangers and puts up a really aggressive display. more to follow, I plan to get some more training in over the holidays
And Merry Christmas to you, too, Drago! Nice to hear from you, Dennis. Glad you finally got past the glitches and were able to post.
Don't feel too bad about not having the time to train. I think there's a lot of that going around, based on some of the other threads lately. Drago is looking good. Sounds like he is a typical teenage boy!
I have been WONDERING where you were Dennis - you've been gone longer than I was!! Glad to see your handsome boy and to hear all is well. Working long hours definitely cuts into life, doesn't it?
getting my ass kicked at work, home on two weeks med leave. I have the perfect ailment, too injured to work but injured enough to train Drago with the kids on Christmas Vacation. Plus Vicoden
