I have not been on the forum as often as I would have liked. I was very busy with my house being built and work (the stuff that helps me pay my bills).
Mud block house
I have been trying to place Vaithy (bommi's son) with a good home and today I may have found a good buyer.
The little bugger (Vaithy) has grown very dear to me and I feel bitter sweet when I think of letting him go. I cannot look at him straight , now that I have decided to sell him .
But I know he will have a better home and more attention.
He turned 5 months last week. Anyway, the buyer has promised to pick him up in two or three days. He is from a town about 800 Km away from where I live.

Ram, that house is so cool! Well, hopefully, from the looks of your weather. Can I ask why all the rebar in the windows?
And congratulations and condolences on the sale of Vaithy. It's what you set out to do and sounds like you've accomplished that. I'm sure you've chosen a great home.

I was wondering what had happened to you Ram lol!
House is looking great, fantastic setting, you must be so looking forward to moving in, the dogs are going to love it!
Shame Vaithy is on his way soon, bitter sweet for you I guess...
Hopefully the new owner will keep you up to date with news once he settles in.

It looks great! The setting is so tranquil. I would love to visit your country.....but alas I have to pay my bills too. I'll add it to the bucket list. Congratulations on Vaithy, bittersweet yes, but a happy outcome for Vaithy was always your goal.

Good to hear from you, Ram. The house is looking great. I love the look of those blocks. You're going to have such a peaceful and beautiful place to get away from it all.
I can sympathize with the bittersweet feelings about sending Vaithy and all the pups off to their new homes. That's exactly why I know I could never, ever breed a dog. I just wouldn't be able to do it, and I'd end up with a house full of six, eight, ten or however many puppies were born!

What an amazing setting. I like the look of those mountains in the background. Really unique ridgeline.
Any tigers left out there?
I have the same worries whenever I consider breeding (in the future). I'm glad you found good homes for all the pups.

Well, the house is going to be in 4 acres of land and security is important. So the windows all have iron bars to make it safe (from humans). Also I may not be living there through out the year as I have to be in the city (crappy , filthy, crowded, etc etc) to pay for the tranquil house.
Yes, the house is about 4 Km from the edge of a tiger reserve that must be a few hundred thousand acres in spread. You can see wild elephants , leopards , wild indian bison , Sambar deer etc on the roads . I have seen a tiger only once. So they are out there.
W R T to Vaithy , I feel like I am giving away my child and he does not know that he is going away. He is such a sweet, calm , smart puppy. I do not think I will breed Bommi ever again.

Awww Ram. I sure feel for you. Never had to give away a puppy but fosters I had for well over 5 months. You watch them blossom and get used to the routine and just when all is going well, along comes that special someone.
I don't think I'd look at it like giving a child away though. Maybe more of a... sending him out to make his way in a bright, new world.
I'm sure you're going to say something, to this prospective owner, along the lines of...If it doesn't work out, please bring him back or I'll come get him.
I think it's important that you're really upbeat when he's heading out. If you're feeling bad, he'll probably feed off that in a negative way.
Oh, I don't envy you, but if it's what you truly want, I'd make it the calmest, happiest goodbye ever. If you need to break down when he's gone, we'll be here to help get you through the tears.
