I have 3 English Bulldogs all females. 1 is spayed the other 2 are intact. I recently got an 8 month old puppy back from a litter I bred. She did fine with her mother until they played tug and got too rough. I know I should have not allowed the game to get out of control but too late now to fix. Now they can't even look at one another in the house without squabbling. So far there has been no blood or any marks on each other and have been able to stop them fairly easy. I now have them separated in different rooms. They can go outside and not fight in the yard. How should I handle this problem before it gets too bad? I want to keep both as I show them in AKC conformation. The other one gets along fine and ignore's them totally.

They are fed separate and can go outside together to play...I have caught the younger one body bumping her mom when she starts running around a little crazy. They squabbled a little but stopped as quick as it started....I am watching Leerburgs pack structure but have a hard time keeping her in the crate all the time. I just had her in obedience classes and is signed up for another one in June. I don't think I have any rules except no fighting.LOL No toys or bones since they fight. They all know the crated and have since they were young.
As far as them being together who wouldn't want their dogs to all just get along. They don't have to love each other but it would sure be nice if they could live together and not have to be worried they might hurt each other.

Just a guess, but what you thought was play, was them sizing each other up and the play that got out of control was the result. Separate them and don't let them "play" anymore. I think the only way they can live together now, is for you to teach them to ignore each other and pay attention to you.
