Marco seemed to be recovered from whatever was bothering his stomach a couple weeks ago. Yesterday I get home, feed him, eats a little, plays a little, eats the rest which is what he usually does. Goes out to pee and poop. Poop is a little loose. Come back in. 5-10 minutes later he indicates to go out. I'm thinking no way you need to go out that quick, take him out anyway. He has diahrea. Bring him in. 5 minutes later, same thing. Bring him in and he immediately vomits up all the food he had just eaten. Went through the night in the crate just fine. This morning 4 times out within 15 minutes, nothing but watery diarea the first three times. Fourth time he squats to go, nothing comes out at all.
With a pup intermittent bouts of vomiting and diarrhea are common, normal. As long as it resolves in 24 hrs and the pup is not depressed it generally doesn't require further work-up.
how is his water intake and energy? is he straining to urinate? grab pull at the skin between his shoulderblades how is its elasticity (the time it takes to return to normal)? add boiled chicken to that rice it usually helps and won't upset the stomach
