Our older dogs always seem to regress to puppy like behavior (towards us) when a new puppy comes in- we always joke that they see what kind of behavior is getting all the attention and adapt

My dogs perk up when ANY age of new dog arrives ..... and I'm pretty sure it's because they have figured out that it always prompts more bait-bag appearances.
Well, it's incredible around here.
The Pinker is LOVING and does everything you ask crisply, hyper-obedient.
The ancient IG came out to the field for haying, 1/4 mile from the house, something that hasn't happened in 3 years.
Sadly, we seem to have re-discovered the joys of hole digging too. Excavations are forming everywhere.......
Gloves and shoes left casually in the garage are distributed across the farmstead.
