Here is a video of my poor sadha. He had a hgroma removed which had become fibrose. He had it removed on 12th night. He is doing well and I hope that he will heal soon. He too is such a sweet little boy

My glacially slow connection has all but ground to a halt this morning, so I can't see the vids, but it's great to hear from you again!

How are things going with the pup? and what about the new house, how's that coming along?

Tell about your house Ram. The countryside is beautiful. What will be grown in the fields around the house? What was the decoration over the doorway? When will it be
done? Will you move out of your place in the city and live there?
Sadha is looking quite accepting of his Elizabethan collar. He seems to be such a sweet dog.

It is a very very small piece of land. Just 4 acres and I have an other 4 acres on the other side of the road. So any sort of commercial venture is not possible. I plan to plant mangoes. They are low maintenance, need less water and will crop only once a year.

So it is enough if I am there just during harvest and may be a few times inbetween.

I live 520 Kms away and I make my living by being a Database admin. So I need to live in the city , even though I hate it.

I plan to slowly transition from my city home to my new home over the next 5 years and may be start working from my new home. Internet coverage and all that is not good there.



The decoration is traditional South Indian , Hindu totem symbols. I am not a religious person, but like to do all that to express my cultural solidarity. In the door frame you can see a cobra on both sides sitting on top of an ornate throne. (supposed to guard the house). The top of the door frame has an eight petaled flower and that has some other religious / cultural significance.

In many places I guess it is but try living in the average So Cal home you get a patch of grass or none if in a condo.

Hi Joe, I live in a very very crowded nasty city and my entire house is built on a 4800 Sq ft plot (1/10th of an acre).

I meant to say that my plot is too small for commercial agriculture. I cannot expect to make any meaningful income out of it.

I used to live in New Jersey (Edison) and New York (Ithaca) and San Antonio (TX) Sydney and Melbourne and Bangalore and Now In Chennai.

The US /Australian cities are much cleaner, but just as frustrating to live in as the Indian cities.
