Well, took Brio, a.k.a. Kleo von der Konigsgarde, to the vet hospital last night. Lots and lots of vomiting. Took her just after midnight. The blood work wasn't alarming. No blockages showed up in x-rays. Hooked up to fluids for dehydration, and anti vomiting meds.
No call from the hospital yet today, and I'll call about nine or so to see if they did an ultrasound or whatever.
Seems like I'm visiting that place every 12 months or so for some serious thing or another.
Last year had two males in at the same time for four days. One made it and one didn't.
If I was a betting person, I'd wager Brio got into the dog food when she was in the garage the night before last, and gobbled down a bunch of extra food, and the volume was too much for her digestive system.
Today will be the tale of the tape, I suppose.
Freak'n dogs.

"I wouldn't touch that dog, son. He don't take to pettin." Hondo, played by John Wayne
I hope she's okay and that it was caused by nothing more than an OD of dog food. Let us know how she's doing when you get a chance. They sure do keep us on our toes. Never a dull moment!
So sorry to hear about Brio. Having just gone thru an emergency spay surgery with my female 4 months ago....my heat goes out to you. It is not the way you had hoped to spend the evening, I'm sure.
Hope it turns out to be just a piggy dog episode & nothing more.
do you mind telling us what happened to the other dogs? Just wondering if it could be similar.
Our dog Cody spent all the money we put aside for dog emergencies in one week.
then about 1 year later, sick again. then terra, blood issues, then about 6 months later, skin issues. Man! We are praying for our dogs to stay healthy now. It has been about 6 months now. BUt soon Terra will be off her meds. The season for mushrooms is coming too. Yikes!
Hope it turns out it was nothing and your dog will be good as new. So sorry to hear about it being ill. all my dogs agree, they hate the hospital. sharon
It's going on midnight and I'm thinking about you and Brio. I had one of mine to the vet today for excessive vomiting. He seems to be okay for now. Sure hope everything will be okay for your dog, Mike.
