Betty Reavis Webboard User Reg: 12-24-2008 Posts: 178 Loc: NewMarket, Al Offline	Update: Just wanted you all to know what was going on with my WGS yeast infection. We returned to my vet last week and no improvement. Desided on doing a biopsy. My Vet put her on a stronger antibiotic Cipro. Returned yesterday for biopsy results and exam. Not a yeast infection. Severe bacterial infection and Erythematosus (Canine Lupus). The good news is the infection was 95% gone, The bad news the Lupus. Anyone here ever have to deal with this disease. Would appreciate any info. Thank you

This diagnosis was quite a shock. I believe she has the lesser of two evils, the discoid version of Lupus. We go back to my vet next week. My vet has been in touch with Auburn and we will discuss options then. Will let you know how it goes. Thank you all so much for your continued support.
