I tryed to get Harley to the agility centre as the weather here is plain suck. Wet snow, super cold, snow storm. Not good time to be a dobe.
Well that was BAD. There was a small yapper and it yapped and run and was fluffy and HArley just went crazy. I just had to pack him back be cause he could not focus at all even when I got him in the ob room.
Today we are in a snow storm so just getting out for potty is not fun. I had to drag both dogs in the snow and wind.
Is this the what did you work on today thread revised for 2013?
Today, worked with Bindi on rally O. Went through about 1/2 of the rally cards.
Practiced recall when major distractions were around. Distraction= man driving truck along our fence.
Practicing the walk around for sit and down each time I put Bindi in her crate. (as well at other locations.)
Taking Cody to visit the vet before his appointment to help him be more relaxed when he goes. He is having yearly blood work up.
Taking Terra to petsmart to work on a different location and people milling around and noise level. She has been doing well so far. Sharon
Sadie got a schutzhund dumbbell for Christmas, and she loves it! I got a LB gift cert, and have been working on deciding how to spend it. Have narrowed it down to a video (pbly "Finishing Work") or a bite pillow. The pillow would be a stretch, as Sadie does not bite, but my idea is to transfer our tugging from ball-on-a-rope to the pillow. If this works, I may eventually be able to build drive for a sleeve.
Hey Duane, I bought a bite pillow not long ago and both my dogs seem to love it more than the tugs they got right into it straight away! Just thought I'd let you know.
Thanks, Brad.
I see that there's a promo offering a discount for using a gift cert this weekend, so I'm trying to decide. You may have just talked me into going with the pillow.
postion change and between leg and switch side for heel.
Not much to do yesterday we got a monster snow storm (almost 2') and today it is very cold.
Dexter is polishing is right next to the wood stove carpet dog gig. He won't get out much untill temperature get back near freezing point and better if it is over it.
I need to go snowshoeing in the trails so the dog can go for a wood run when it is not so cold.
