Just needed to share the experience with dog people, who may not think this is just the idiocy of a batty old dear like my children do...
Going up the garden path, with the beloveds - a twice daily occurrence - get one welly boot caught around the other, pitch head long into the car door, resulting in a split lip and two swollen, bloody knees, all in broad daylight.
The 4 dogs stopped in their tracks, looked at me with mild curiosity, while my daughter shut the front door behind me, laughing her head off.
And I just KNOW at least one of the neighbours saw!
DAMN those wellies!!!! They sure can be clunkie can't they?!!!
I've done the same thing...but fell into my horse. He just turned & looked at me as if to say....Damn woman...didn't you have your coffee fix this morning?!!!!

I can totally picture this ..... turning his head like "what the hell is going on back there?"
I often take my dogs hiking on rather rough terrain and remain upright...yet, I managed to trip and fall on my face on a very flat piece of lovely green grass in a very public park. I feel your pain!
lol, i can imagine the dogs looking at you thinking what the heck was that?
i fell flat on my butt in the middle of the park next to a very busy road when I tried to pull a stone out of my shoe and my girl decided she wanted to sniff something on the other side of me
