His parents are Qenny ot Vitosha and Fida van Joefarm. I was told he was a former SWAT dog and that his bite work was 'screwed up' and he didn't have any focused obedience. Any info as to his past besides this small amount?
I've already found those links, but I'm hoping someone here may know WHY he was retired. 2009 dog that is a certified police dog but is retired and has screwed up bite work. That just doesn't sound right to me.
Bite work for sport was screwed up cause he was taught bite transfers on a suit at a young age. On Sleeve he is solid. Handler was fairly new and the dog had two unwarranted bites due to handler errors and misjudgement. The dog is serious and not the most social to strangers. No handler aggression but very protective and very territorial. Not a back yard BBQ type dog that would mingle well. Hope that helps
