Will Rambeau Moderator Reg: 01-25-2003 Posts: 5983 Loc: Idaho Offline	I was at a Petco and one of the local rescue groups had a bunch of dogs there ( these are the same folks that we got our rescue weiner dog from....).... As usual, there were several crates of shivering chihuahuas and then I saw this little guy, just a total Mr. confidence in one of the crates. I put my hand to him and he just leaned on me with this look of "dude....". I took him out around the store and watched his interact with various people and dogs, and well......I took him home. In spite of my always teasing the girls about their "bass plugs with feet" they are pretty cool dogs. One comes from a show line breeder and the other has some oddball continental Kennel club registration. That one is actually the better of the two. Less shaking and less apt to be an ankle biter. She's fantastic with the kids 10, 7, 6 in spite of the youngest being a pia with her at times. She just turned 9. old dogs LOVE to learn new tricks

When I was at NASS last October, at the end of the bite work competition, they had a very small dog (JRT maybe?) who came out on the field and proceeded to do a flawless bark and hold on the helper. He got in some bites, had a flawless out, and at the end the helper fell down on the ground like he was being taken down. It was a riot. So maybe this new dog has a future in sport!
