And to me, and probably to you, that's worth approximately zero.
Purina holds the position on many dog-food analysis sites of being the national company that makes what I think is the worst kibble you can buy: Purina Dog Chow.

Beneful has got to be some of the worse crap in a bag. I think I'd feed SD or Ole Rory before I'd feel that.
Sad for these owners. Worse yet that the company won't seriously investigate. Way to many dogs involved to just be a fluke.
I get it that raw if not for everyone...for whatever reason....but don't they read the labels? But in the owners defense...their tv ads almost make ME want to eat it. :-) So much for truth in advertising. RIGHT.
When I went to get Tyra the Chocolate Lab from my Brother's house, he grabbed an almost full bag of Beneful and went to put it in my car. I asked what that was, and he said it was her food. I told him to keep it, and she was switched to raw that night.
She ate that crap for about 6 years, and when I got her she was grossly overweight. Since switching her to raw, she's regained a healthy shine to her coat, she's at a good weight, and she has plenty of energy.
I am somewhat concerned that 6 years of eating that crap may have affected her organs... I guess we'll find out as she ages...

The first ingredients make the reason clear: corn, corn gluten, whole wheat flour, animal fat, soy protein, soy flour, water, rice flour, pearled barley, and sugar.
