As background I currently have a 19 month old Great Dane, I have used an Ecollar for her training. Recently I have rescused a Deaf and Blind Great Dane that is 3 approx 3 months old. This is my frist experience with a Deaf and Blind dog and I was hoping to find resources for training and suggestions. Thanks a Bunch!
I would think an e-collar would be an indispensible tool to use for a dog that's blind and deaf. Couldn't you use the lowest, vibration, level as a kind of praise and a higher, so-called shock level for corrections (when the time comes for corrections)? I've never used e-collars so i might be way off base here.

I've used the pager for the deaf dogs, with a careful intro.
Yes, I have just introducted the ECollar. Using the vibration only setting you can actually train to come.....or at least that's what I have read. I us one with great success with my 18 month old Great Dane "Maggie". Swear by Ecollars. The Einstein Brand sold on this site is excellent.
