...celebrating things that should be normal
Exciting day today because after 5 years around Tanner The Terrified... he licked my hand. It made me jump a mile, which made him jump a mile and bolt. For some, it may seem like nothing but for those of you who have read about him, please join me in a happy dance! He also will leap up to catch a ball now. On the other hand, he won't walk east from my parents house any more- the neighbor's wind chime tinkled one day when we walked by...ah, life with a crazy dog
Doing the Happy Dance with you, Amy. With some dogs, it is the little things, things that we would take for granted with another dog, that mean so much.
Canadian Happy Dance!!! It's amazing how much you take for granted when you have a brave dog and how much little things mean when you don't.
Amy, Tanner needed a special mom to take care of him and he was very fortunate to find you. Not many people would take the time to work with a dog like him. Here's to continued success with "getting braver" boy.

It has truly been a blessing to watch him go from a terrified, miserable dog all the time to a happy dog with "quirks" Seeing joy in his eyes where there was fear, confidence where there was insecurity and love where there was confusion is indescribable. None of us would change my mom's decision for the world!
