My cody man has a hoarse bark today. Does anyone know what can cause it? He doesn't act sick at all, just as silly as ever. Anyone have any ideas on what to use to sooth his throat?

Just a note for my previous post above. COdy has not been barking a lot. and I have not posted a u tube video, not sure why it says that on my previous post.
He doesn't have trouble swallowing. I plan on cutting up his raw diet into very small pieces, and we have already been grinding up his bones (from his dinners) into tiny flecks.
So, any suggestions I would appreciate it. love sharon and her pups bindi cody and terra, Cody is the little black and white terrier in the picture.
A previous dog I owned developed a hoarse bark. The circumstances were very different, as she was 12 years old (quite old for her breed), and was going through several other major health issues at the time. X-rays indicated she had what the vet called a "thickened larynx."
For me, unexplained hoarseness that continues beyond a few days would warrant a vet visit. Sooner if the dog is having any other symptoms such as coughing, loss of appetite, or anything else out of the ordinary.
My cody isn't having trouble eating, he is not coughing, and or having trouble swallowing.
Now he is only hoarse when he growls not barks, but like you we are concerned and watching him this weekend. thanks for your input. love sharon and her pups bindi, cody, terra.
