Very nice dog! I read the article and I find it interesting that, in order to obtain the French title of "Champion," he had to do what dogs do not have to do in the US. He had to pass several health tests and a herding instinct test. (I assume testing would be different depending on the breed and what they were originally bred to do.)
And then for an ACD to achieve an IPO3 on top of that is very impressive!
I personally like the idea that a Champion should have more qualifications than just being able to trot around a ring and look pretty. I know many conformation exhibitors who would disagree with me.

Amazing, I can only dream of getting so far with my AuCaDo. I love seeing this breed excel in other activities then herding. They truly are an all around dog.
