DONT! You can NEVER TURN BACK!
Once they sneeze, they never stop.
Just like paw.
God, i regret these things...
Not if you don't allow the dog to decide when to play the game!
Can you help me out with this one a bit?
How do i get these dogs to STOP offering things they have learned during play/socialization/training/life24/7?
I mean.... am i doing something wrong?
And what about ALL the trained performance dogs? They offer too!
MY dog offers all different things throughout the day. But all in all the most annoying things she offers are paw, sneeze, spin, heel, and under.
It often starts when
#1 you reward it every time THEY offer it they will keep tossing things at you. It's like a toddler that gets a laugh the first time is says a cuss word. It will keep doing it for the reaction/reward.
Only reward "WHAT" you ask for it. That avoids the pushy behaviors.
#2 Often times a dog new to training is just tossing behaviors hoping it gets the right one.
Again, only reward "WHAT" you ask for. That helps stop the confusion. It "IS" confusion on the dog's part and not the dog just showing how good it is.
DONT! You can NEVER TURN BACK!

DITTO ....Reward only asked-for behaviors.
"Reward" includes attention of any kind, including laughter or even negative attention.
"And what about ALL the trained performance dogs? They offer too!"
They are responding to a trained-for signal (overt or very subtle) or they are performing a trained string of commands.
What? I DONT reward for any of these unless i want them. Most of the time i have other dogs(and other things) i am keeping an eye on. No way i reward for things i didn't ask for at the moment.
And those dogs are in MY house. In MY care. Im not giving the signals. They are simply offering things.
When training or just socializing/living YOUR dogs don't crazily OFFER what they have learned?
Some of the things learned are just WAY more of annoying than others XD.
