Does your pup have a chance to interact with other dogs and pups? Sibling interaction teaches important life skills like bite inhibition so I would want to make sure a singleton pup had other chances to learn proper dog/dog interaction.
There is another litter, that is 4-5 days younger. I have asked the breeder to allow my pup to be with the other pups.
So far the breeder seems reluctant to do so.
I don't know much about pedigrees, trying to learn.
I had put my deposit down on said breeding before pups (pup) was born. I was to have pick of litter.
This pup will be basically a companion dog. But if it has a stable nerves, I want to train him to become a service dog for myself.
I would be more insistent on playtime with the other litter. The early social skills learned are soo very beneficial. In fact if the litters are similar and if it is a possibility, I might consider one of the other pups. Especially if the breeder isn't giving the singleton good opportunities for dog/dog interaction.
