ha fair enough, there was no point being made, just sharing a vid.
I did state however this dog showed stronger than a lot of gsd and mal would with same lack of training, I know the incremental fun build up most of those dogs get;
start at 5 weeks old; rag, tug, friendly stranger rag, tug, prey, prey, prey bite pillow,, sleeve, carry sleeve back to decoy, get a pat from decoy....
you really think you would get a hand on this pup in his second agitation ever in it's life without getting bit badly, be honest not many dogs show like that and I have seen a few and I know the typical training anywhere people do.
same dog is 52kg now and have not had one further session, that's less than 2 sessions in two years for a total of 10 minutes.
will record his next session whenever that is, you think the dog won't come out??
hey no prob with argumentation here, it's not personal.

What are they trying to accomplish in those videos?
IMO looks like teasing** the dog, my dog would do the same thing if i put him in a bathroom and have someone stand outside the door...
P.s the harness used in the second video is an accident waiting to happen. I believe those are made for skijoring. Not any sort of bite work or whatever this is.

IT IS TAUNTING lol, AKA testing the dog, AKA agitation.
test 1. take your dog off your property, get a stranger to confront it straight at the dog, little movement or sound use stink eye and aggressive body language, video the results, post them.
test 2. take your dog off your property, get stranger to conceal himself, casually walk dog toward concealed decoy, have decoy run, yell, shake fists at your dog, have stranger aggressively approach dog with no equipment, then present a target to bite, video results, post them.
it is important to give the dog no prior exposure to this or the results will be meaningless, if your dog does same or better that's great.
have you seen Ed's original vids on first steps of defence? he does similar things with many, many more steps put in incrementally over time and usually with older dogs that have been bite trained, not sure this is as easy as you think, I could well be wrong, always a first time.
if you do this no cheating and preparing your dog off cam.
I dunno you may have already done this a million times.
ETA; Cathy- simple, just wanted to see the dogs reaction genetically speaking so I know what dog i got.
test takes 10 minutes in total, try it.

Yes my dog would bark for bathroom video. Second my dog would bite whatever body part was presented by an experienced decoy... No need for a video to show me what my dog would do. I have done dozens of tests to ensure my dog would be a great tracking dog. I was not trying to insult you or your dog. I do apologize if i came off that way Peter.

Good, glad it's just dog talk.
Do you mind me asking how experienced your decoy is?

nil, just a guy I met on the street who liked the look of my dog, I asked if he had a sense of adventure and noticed he moved pretty well and went from there.
in my limited experience the good decoys do everything opposite to the way a real bad guy would do it, imo a well trained dog used to good decoys will have what the heck moment the first time they a confronted with a normal person that does not know what a decoy is supposed to do.
nearly all my decoys are random knuckle-heads that want to try shut my dogs down for bragging rights, bucks the dogs up.
a big dog culture here with guys owning aggressive untrained dogs, unlike the majority of urban folk who have never been exposed to dogs much these guys are not scared of dogs period, until they get a pinch thru the Belgium arm sleeve (soft bite suit arm, not ipo cylindrical arm that you can't feel anything through), then they straighten up a bit.
FYI I took my GSD to some real decoys and he treated them with so much disrespect like they were his personal toys.
