I am Lesley and only just discovered the forum on this great site.
I am a busy mother of 3 and although currently based in the UK will be moving to the US in the new year.
I have loved dogs all my life and been brought up with family dogs but finally got to own my own dog 16 years ago with my first collie who got me into competition obedience. Over the years I have owned a collie, collie X and a Bassett Hound. I now currently own a 2 and a half yr old Sprocker (springer x cocker) called Toby. He trains well around the house is a complete nightmare outside since discovering chasing cats and birds. I have never been able to have a nice walk with him as not pulling seems to be impossible for him to learn.
I also have an 11 month old GSD who is my new competition dog and so far proving great to train apart from a bit of a distraction problem in training classes I have little to complain about about this boy.
Any way hope you like the pics and I look forward to chatting with you all.
I'm not sure if this type of cross is intentional or not although there are a large number of this type of cross here in the UK. I always describe Toby as being cocker round the house, small and well mannered but when the lead is on and the door is open then his springer side 'springs' into action.
