Hi. Anyone have a GS with a terrible case of Pano? My 10 month old has had it in the fronts and toughed it out. At the end of a 30 day Lyme Disease treatment, he was so lame on his rear that he stopped eating (his loved raw diet), was terribly depressed, hopped on 3 legs - its been almost 5 weeks! X rays look good as well as blood. Did 10 days of 3 pain killers and he is so disconnected I don't recognize him. He hides in a closet and looks beaten down. The confident energetic sweet dog is not there at all. $2000 in vet bills and still no answers. Anyone have any similar experience to make me feel times will get better?
Thanks for the response. My 10 month old had it in the fronts and we dealt with it. My concern with him now is the complete change in personality. Moping, depressed, have to force him to get up to potty, growling to be left alone, not eating, and for 5 weeks; the last week getting worse. This is extreme.
Tramadol
Gabapentin
Amantadine
I stopped everuthing but Tramadol yesterday. The other 2 a neuralogical drugs that I think really makes him impaired.
He's been worse since starting meds 10 days ago.
