a guy who trains and breeds a lot of dogs who I have never met in person but have chatted to on the forums is gifting me a used bite-suit. I never even asked him for it.
I could not afford a new one and was not going to buy a second-hand one from another country without seeing it so I gave up on the idea.
I've been conversing with a Norwegian about metal detecting even though the conversation originally was on a thread about close protection. He is going to be in Florida for a few months and he purchased me a very nice metal detector in exchange for showing him some good places to go. I never asked and was happy to use the older one I have but he insisted I get upgraded. Turns out he's well to do and this isn't the first time he's done this sort of thing. I've been known to give/gift things but nothing as expensive as a bite suit or metal detector.
Connie is the same way. I've been the recipient of her graciousness.
